Joanne Shivers
Jo is our qualified Level 3 Sports and Soft tissue massage therapist. She will be joining us in March!
She is a member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA) and later on during the year she is hoping to further her skills to Level 4 massage. Jo currently works for the NHS in stroke and Neuro rehabilitation in an acute setting. She is ex police and a busy active mum to teenagers.
Jo is passionate about the power of the mind & body connection and the importance of massage therapy to help us get the most from our bodies.
Sports massage therapy is not just for ‘sporty’ people as the name suggests, but just when life causes dysfunction. With poor posture, tension, and occupational stress which can all lead to injury and stress on the body if not rectified.
Jo is happy to discuss your needs for addressing specific areas of concern.
